Hanwha Eagles “Baseball with English” – Jul. 26, 2014

The Hanwha Eagles have organized a program for local elementary school students (grades 3-6) called “Baseball with English”.  This will be held on July 26, 2014 (hopefully, more sessions in the future), and the program is a rough combination of an English class, children’s baseball clinic, and the Eagles’ stadium tour which is being held every other Saturdays.

Going back and forth Hanbat Baseball Stadium and Seosan Baseball Training Center, the program includes English classes (basic conversation, baseball terminology, playing rules) with a quiz, playing catch, and a T-ball game.

The winning team of the T-ball game receives restaurant dining certificates while every participant will receive a cap, t-shirt, and handbag necklace.

Instructing the program will be Luke Hoagland, who is a schoolteacher in Daejeon as well as a popular Hanwha Eagles superfan.
