South Korea Earns Spots in Little League Baseball® World Series

After defeating Hong Kong 11-0 in the Asia-Pacific Regional Tournament, the Seoul Little League club will be participating in the upcoming 68th Little League Baseball® World Series (Aug. 14-24) at Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  The last time a South Korean team made it to the Little League World Series was in 1985 (back-to-back years in 1984 and 1985).

The team spent a busy week after winning the title attending ceremonies and receptions.  The Korea Baseball Association (KBA) as well as the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) each hosted their own events for them.
