Daegu’s New Ballpark Needs Directions

It may be a bit of a hassle to get to Daegu Samsung Lions Park during its inaugural season.  A baseball fan’s opinion has gone viral among local fans in Daegu as he pointed out the absence of directions to the Samsung Lions’ new ballpark.  Currently the new stadium has no subway stations named after it, and Daegu Grand Park Station (대공원역), the closest Daegu Metro stop from the stadium, does not mention the ballpark in any of its maps.  To make things worse, it will take more than six months for a review committee to decide on a new name—unless the Lions purchase the station’s naming rights.  However, according to the report, the Lions are just too much caught up in Opening Day preparations.
