LSU Baseball Transfers
LSU baseball is one of the most successful programs in the country, and the Tigers have been consistently producing stellar players for decades. Every year, however, some of the team’s players choose to transfer to another school, either for personal or academic reasons. Here’s a look at some of the LSU baseball players who have transferred in recent years.
2017 Transfers
In 2017, the following LSU baseball players transferred:
- Pitcher Nick Bush
- Outfielder Beau Jordan
- Infielder Kramer Robertson
- Infielder Cole Freeman
Nick Bush transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he went 5-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 16 appearances. Beau Jordan transferred to the University of Miami, where he hit .267 with four home runs and 22 RBIs in 61 games. Kramer Robertson transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he hit .343 with seven home runs and 38 RBIs in 61 games. Zack Hess transferred to Liberty University, where he went 9-1 with a 2.25 ERA in 15 appearances. Hal Hughes transferred to the University of Arizona, where he hit .277 with one home run and 14 RBIs in 39 games. Brandt Broussard transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he hit .238 with four home runs and 17 RBIs in 56 games. Brennon Anderson transferred to the University of Memphis, where he hit .330 with four home runs and 39 RBIs in 63 games.
2019 Transfers
In 2019, the following LSU baseball players transferred:
- Pitcher Ma’Khail Hilliard
- Infielder Cade Doughty
- Outfielder Gavin Dugas
- Outfielder Antoine Duplantis
Ma’Khail Hilliard transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he went 7-3 with a 5.63 ERA in 13 appearances. Cade Doughty transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi, where he hit .279 with four home runs and 40 RBIs in 58 games. Gavin Dugas transferred to Louisiana Tech, where he hit .326 with four home runs and 37 RBIs in 49 games. Antoine Duplantis transferred to Louisiana-Lafayette, where he hit .311 with four home runs and 41 RBIs in 49 games.
2020 Transfers
In 2020, the following LSU baseball players transferred:

- Infielder Nick Webre
- Outfielder Giovanni DiGiacomo
- Pitcher Mitchell Kilkenny
John Kodros transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he went 5-0 with a 2.96 ERA in 11 appearances. Nick Webre transferred to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he hit .250 with one home run and 15 RBIs in 44 games. Giovanni DiGiacomo transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he hit .271 with three home runs and 19 RBIs in 51 games. Mitchell Kilkenny transferred to the University of Texas, where he went 5-3 with a 3.80 ERA in 12 appearances.
